US MBAs for International Students
I have been accepted by Darden, Carnegie Mellon and UT-Austin MBAs respectively. I would like to work in US as an investment banker. I will get a loan in order to pay for my tuition fees . However, I am not sure if I will be able to secure a job in US as an international student and if this happens there is no point studying in US. What do you guys think ? Is it possible for me to secure a job as an Investment Banker Associate in US as an International ? Should I go to US or should I play it safe and attend cheaper MBAs in Europe (Insead, LBS, Oxford) without a loan ??
My background: 2 bachelors from two different universities in Greece in Finance and Public Policy respectively ( GPAs: 3.6), GMAT 700, Ι have been working for the past 3 years in Deloitte in Athens as a Corporate Finance Analyst.
A lot of investment banks sponsor international students. Darden is your best bet - Tepper has little if any presence at banks and UT is also relatively low.
