Vanderbilt, Tulane, Boston College
My goal is to work in investment banking in the future. I have been accepted to Boston College, Vanderbilt, and Tulane. All have similar prices. Which do you guys think would boost my chances of getting into IB?
Also, I’m not sure whether the banks would care, but I could play a D1 sport at BC or Tulane, but not Vandy.
Thanks in advance!

Bc > Vandy > Tulane
Also, I’m thinking about trying to work in Houston O&G. Don’t know if that would change anything. Thanks
For NYC, I think it's basically a tossup between BC (assuming it's their business school) and Vandy. I think Vandy probably has the prestige edge, but I think BC might have the placement/alumni edge. However, if you are leaning towards O&G in Houston, I think Vandy would probably be the better pick -- I can't imagine a Boston school getting a lot of love in Texas. As for Tulane, I have friends there, its super fun, but I think Vandy or BC is definitely at better choice for acidemics/ getting into IB.
I’m gonna give an opposing answer. Vandy and it’s not close... Vanderbilt is by far the better school out of the three and will open up many more doors than the other two.
Definitely Vandy! Vandy has way more prestige than the other two. Any benefits BC has over Vandy is not worth losing the prestige over and Tulane is not even close.
Congrats on Vanderbilt. Can confirm that it's a target school for many BB
Play a D1 sport at BC. Vandy is the best at recruiting, but playing D1 sport could make you stand out. BC is just a little bit lower than Vandy in terms of recruiting.
I don’t think they can successfully pick up a sport and turn into a D1 sport in the time frame they have.
Oh, shoot. My bad just read that they could play a D1 sport, I’m an idiot.
