Waiver for B school (MSc)
This is currently hypothetical, but an idea that I have been playing around with. If I apply for a GMAT/GRE waiver for an MSc and it is granted for "exceptional" qualifications, could I get dinged by the admits when they compare my application to others that have taken it or will the GMAT/GRE merely not be a factor when they evaluate me?
exceptional = you're a NFL pro-bowl player or the son of a prince or cured a certain type of cancer.
If you're exceptional enough to get a waiver, you won't need on-campus recruiting to get a job. If you need on-campus recruiting, you're not exceptional enough to get a waiver.
Well exceptional with regard to academic qualifications, but thanks. Good to know.
