What else should I do over the summer?
I'm a rising sophomore and have an internship and am done with my summer classes. I really haven't learned much from my internship but it definitely looks good on the resume. I bought the IB book and am wondering if I should be emailing alums from my school right now or what. I'm planning on adding a rigorous major and I'm curious if I will have time to take those classes during recruiting. How do CS/Engineering/pre-meds recruiting for IB manage recruitment season? Is there anything I should do as soon as school starts or right now then let me know. Appreciate the help!
It is never too early to start networking. Start reaching out to any possible alumni at banks of all tier. Start with analysts and move your way up. Make a spread sheet and keep track of all your networking/connections.
