what happens when the school year overlaps with SA stint?
just saw that notre dame pushed their school year forward two weeks to begin the week of August 10 and end the semester before thanksgiving. as of now they’re planning to have students on campus. I don’t go to ND, but my internship has been pushed back and extended to August 21 this summer, so my question is what happens to students who may have a 10+ day overlap between their internship and school? do we think other schools may follow suit?
It's possible to make it work cause it's virtual and you will be on campus
Last year we flew to our internships at the usual time and arranged to take our finals early/remotely. For some courses it required significant pressure from students to make it work.
If one is serious about getting a return offer, then IMO skipping school is the answer given the circumstances
