What School did you go and what did you Major in to break into IB?
Was simply curious, I see so many comments about high salary positions as first-year, second-year analysts, and higher positions (associate, VP, etc.) at firms, but never about how they got there. What school did you go to, and what did you major in?>

UVA, commerce major
School: Non-Target in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Started at a Community College.
Major: Finance and Accounting Major.
Note: Strove to attain and maintain a high GPA (>3.8) just because of how I am wired and fortunately came to realize it was needed to just get my foot in the door (along with leadership roles) for interviews and eventually roles.
