What to do after accepting SA offer?

Just a few days ago, I accepted an offer for a SA position at my top choice bank for the summer of 2022. After grinding through this arduous process, what did you all do during your final 2 years of college without the weight of recruiting on your shoulders? Travel, relaxing, treating yourself to a gift?

Started looking at buyside opps and grinded through LBO models the next day. No time to rest on your laurels. Onwards and upwards.

In all seriousness though, congrats on the offer. Would take a few months to decompress, but definitely try to figure out what you want to do with your experience in banking. You have a great seat and are positioned well, but banking is probably not the be all-end all too many kids on the platform make it out to be (unless you really love it). Would really pursue other interests you might have outside the realm of IB/high finance.

Wasn't able to celebrate immediately because of covid, but now that I'm vaccinated I've been partying a lot again and just blowing off steam. I didn't have to sacrifice much for recruiting as my season coincided with the harshest lockdowns in california. It's been really nice to take a light course-load and just wrap up my major over the next year. My school is insanely fun and I can finally take advantage of the social scene again.

It also feels good to have a decent post-undergrad plan so far ahead of graduation. A ton of my friends are scrambling into tech sales and marketing with one or zero internships as a junior and it seems unnecessarily stressful. Enjoy your junior and senior year man!
