What WSO course(s) should I focus on to prep for MBA/Consulting

I'm a Finance professional currently studying for the GMAT and also trying to take advantage of extra time I have outside work.  If I want to pivot my career towards Strategy or Management consulting, what WSO courses should I focus on? Not only to prep for MBA curriculum, but to also prep for roles in the future?

Swinging from the trees here, but it sounds like you're looking to make a big leap in your career! Based on the most helpful WSO content, I'd recommend focusing on the following courses:

  1. Complete Step-By-Step Consulting Interview Prep: This course offers 2,037 questions across 209 consulting firms, 11 challenging cases authored by a McKinsey Associate, and 5 critical frameworks for case interview success. It's a comprehensive guide that will help you prepare for consulting interviews.

  2. WSO Elite Modeling Package: This package includes 6 courses that will help you master financial modeling, a crucial skill in consulting. The courses include Excel Modeling, PowerPoint for Finance, Financial Statement Modeling, LBO Modeling, M&A Modeling, and Valuation Modeling.

  3. Free Excel Crash Course: This course is a foundation for all finance careers, including consulting. It includes 50+ detailed video lessons and 5+ realistic video exercises.

Remember, the key to success in consulting is not just about mastering the technical skills, but also about understanding the industry and developing strong problem-solving and communication skills. So, don't forget to network and practice case studies!

Good luck with your GMAT and future career pivot! You've got this!
