When a 700 is better than a 710 or 720...

And etc etc along the grading scale.. since scales seem to prefer the 80%th percentile to be seen in both categories, do they actually prefer a 700 that has both over 80 as opposed to a 720 with a top end verbal and crappyish math of 60th or a bit higher (assuming such is possible, which i think it may be?).. esp for finance?

Crappy math scores with send up some red flags. I think scoring a 700 or higher pretty much checks that box off their list. I wouldn't focus too much energy on it.
