Will being a transfer cause others to look down on me?

Have transferred from a state school to a top 10 university my junior year. Recently I was talking to a colleague and he mentioned to me that most finance guys will assume that I am not smart as I couldn’t get in to my college of choice straight from highschool. Ik there’s nothing I can rlly do to change my past but is this at all true, and if so, is there a way to hide where I went for my first two years of university?

Yea he kinda came across as insecure. Also, is it possible for me to hide where I went for the first 2 years, so it only shows that I got my degree from the “good” school.
