Wondering how to do laundry in NYC as an intern?
Gonna be working long hours from what past interns at firm from my school have said. They were virtual though, and could do laundry in their college apartments. I am confirmed in person for this summer. The AirBnB me and my roommates will be in does not have a laundry machine. what do?
Use a laundry service like Ihateironing or something
Will you have a doorman? Very easy (but a bit pricey) with some services. Leave with doorman, returned to doorman, done.
Any update on what you did? Might be in the same situation this summer.
I ended up living around the corner from a dry cleaner’s that also did normal laundry. I’d drop off my dry cleaning and laundry from the prior week and come get it the next day or day after. Super convenient, I think it’s common for dry cleaners to do laundry there too
