Yale MA in Management?

Came across this article recently.

Would be interested to see how this develops. From the sounds of it, it permits European 1 year MBA's to continue at Yale for a 2nd year. Not sure how everyone feels about this but I would have thought having a standalone MIM degree could really improve the rep of SOM.

Haha. Probably should have checked your site out first! Considering how popular they are in Europe and the strengths of the Duke MMS, its surprising more programs havent emerged. But its good news that they are at least recognising the merits of it. Not to mention the potential cash cows they will be for some schools.

I wonder why they don't make it a programme for people who have a non-business masters to join. That would make more sense to me, to pair the management degree with an masters in a different field or a more specialised one like an Mfin, MAEcon, MA IR, etc...

It seems pretty redundant to do an MBA at INSEAD or HEC and then another year of management at Yale especially as this is a post experience course.
