Program has been delayed until next year due to COVID. Completely new program but it sounds like most of the teaching staff are industry professionals.

Seems to be like a huge focus for Yale SOM and administration is doing everything they can for the program.

Re: Yale SOM more broadly, as a current undergrad who has taken classes there & works there, the people are quite brilliant, the building is great, lots of neat stuff & they really leverage the other parts of the university (i.e. Kerry Fellows/John Kerry having like 3-4 talks a year at the SOM that they cohost with Yale Jackson). East Rock is suuuuper nice as a young professional, miles better than the undergrad living area.

The program is new so it doesn’t have any track records. Honestly no one knows for sure....

I recently helped a friend in the process of applying for MSF type programs. He got admitted into this program. To be honest, it’s more suitable for a quant career, or asset management in general. The stuff you learn here is likely more technical/way more math heavy than the math you need in IB. However, since it’s Yale, yes.

Persistency is Key
