Yale SOM Masters in Asset Management too specialised?

Currently looking at schools for 2021 and I'm quite interested in the Masters in Asset Management but I'm worried that doing this program would severely limit my options. Looking to go into PE/HF after uni. Know that it won't be as beneficial as an MBA but I'm currently 1 year out of uni and would rather do a degree sooner than later.

I know I'd have great networking opportunities at Yale but would being enrolled in an Asset Management course just limit my prospects to being in Asset Management/ a Quant?

Appreciate all replies

They postponed this program for a year so you couldn’t do it now anyway. Things could change for you in a year.

I also wouldn’t worry about being “hurt” by a degree from Yale. Worry about getting in.
