Zicklin MBA Recruitment

I am gonna be applying to MBA full time to start fall 2023 (hopefully) and Zicklin might be on my list. All the posts talking about this school are years old and I just wanna get some updated info on the recruitment from this place, internships and the alumni network as well as the mba curriculum itself. Hearing from others is fine although i would love it even more if anybody who grad from Zicklin with MBA could chime in. the most recent job report for the mba is 2019/2020 and drops BB names, but this could be for cleaning out the gutters or something. just wanna make sure.

I know this school is in nyc and undergrad is pretty good, but i want to hear some realistic opinions on what opportunities this school gives

another school i am considering is simon business school in rochester and the only post related to this mba was in 2010 so any input on this one would also be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Honest answer: a Zicklin MBA will bring limited options, if any. I don't know your background, but you'll likely need to network like a madman to land interviews. If you pull it off, you will be bucketed in with all the other MBAs (most of whom are coming from top schools - some will already have IB experience). Competition for IB seats is more cutthroat in grad school than it is in undergrad.

I did not receive my MBA from Zicklin (or anywhere for that matter), but I encountered someone that did. My team did not seem to take him very seriously. Beware that the value of an MBA is being called into question more than ever right now, and although Baruch's reputation is slowly improving, people will wonder why you went back to school for an MBA at such a non-target.

I knew FO was a longshot outside top 20 and near impossible outside top 50, but surely for any other role it cant be THAT bad. I mean obv the circumstances are different between undergrad and MBA, but does the quality really fall off a cliff once you consider grad with Zicklin? Especially if for example I were to do their MBA in accountancy which I've heard good things about.
