Are they ripping me off?

Hey Monkeys! I just got an offer for a sales & trading rotation program at one of the largest asset managers worldwide. Just to give you some background, I recently graduated with a masters in finance, I have a BS in Civil Engineering and few years of working experience but no experience in sales and trading. My question is, since we are about to hit a recession, am I being ripped off? Are they hiring me because they want me to do some nasty stuff on their behalf? I just can't see the reason why they want to hire me honestly.

I highly doubt it. You've been offered a great opportunity mate congrats. With that said I know a junior who was framed in private banking by being given false documents to sign on behalf of his/her boss. Eventually the court ruled in his/her favor but it was 2 painful years. So be smart.
