Breaking into a BB from a Middle Market Bank

I am a fixed income sales/trading analyst with one year of experience on the desk at a middle market bank (like Stifel or Willaim Blair). I have sales experience talking with clients and taking them out.  I have experience trading using Bloomberg and other trading softwares to manage my book. I want to make the jump to a BB firm. Do you think my experience will make my resume stand out even if I did not go to a target school?
