How To Business Development For Agency Equity Trading? Job advice - HELP

I do business development for a small broker-dealer that has some exceptional equity trading capabilities. We're execution only. I can open accounts for trading- but there are some issues here. I don't have any experience in this industry- and frankly don't have any idea what I'm doing at all.

We don't really have any sales managers, or targets- basically my job is to just get meetings. I need some serious, tangible advice here. I mostly just send cold emails to other asset managers, and their traders. We can pick up order flow.

So far my success in sales is a big fat nothing burger. Please help. Thank you!
