Desk Recommendations

Doing an S & T internship @ a BB this summer in Equities/Fixed Income Products. Leaning more towards the sales end (I feel like most people on this board are traders - sorry about posting here, but I can't figure out where else I should). Just looking for recommendations w/regards to desks I should be soliciting placement on, we get to turn in "wish lists" in a few weeks.

I think I'm more interested in Fixed Income side as it seems that there is going to more growth potential there in the future - but I'm open to suggestions!

Thanks in advance!

There is still tons of growth left in equities....If you like sales, look into equity derivitives, international sales, etc. True, on the domestic side commissions and margins are shrinking, def not the case in growing international markets...commissions are actually expanding. if you pick up the new trader monthly, you will see that bonuses on many equity desks surpassed a lot of those in fixed income.
