Diploma vs Degree

UK based.

Is there any value in qualifications other university degrees? There seems to be a few options in London for Level 5 / 7 Diplomas in Applied Financial Trading.

Cant post links to course websites unfortunately

'London Academy of Trading' 'VTCT Level 7 Diploma'

Wondering if these types of courses, once completed and with no other financial education are recognised by anyone and enough to at least get a foot in the door anywhere in the industry?

Are they perhaps slightly more valuable when coupled with another diploma / qualification?

Any insight on what to expect and who to talk to much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
