I would recommend you collate a list of the BBs Energy Desks, Boutique Energy desks, Woodmac/IHS/other consulatancies and use linkedin to find someone with similar background as your self and start setting some coffee meetings. If you attack this with diligence I'm sure somebody will find a place for you.

As for the boutique energy desks, do you have some examples? I am new to this side of the industry so my knowledge is limited as to what smaller firms are out there.
