I am currently an intern on a Cash Equities S&T desk at a BB. My plan is to switch to a FICC desk for my next internship. Cash Equities is a dinosaur business and I've heard that FICC is more quantitative.
I would really appreciate if monkeys would inform me on the following:
- How is FICC doing in 2019?
- What does the future look like for FICC?
- Which do you recommend: Fixed Income, Currencies or Commodities?
