From IB (M&A) to Commodity Trading

Hey guys - Happy to new year first!

Wanted to check if anyone here moved from IB (Associate level in Energy / PUI M&A) to a commodity trading place?

Currently considering a move as am close to getting an offer from a trading house in London. I like the energy space and confident it's where I want to focus but it's always good to hear from people in the space (LT opps / promotion / life balance / comps etc.).

Cheers!
