Seriously? Of course, BB S&T has no negative impact on your chances of landing a spot at a quant firm. And while the job might be different, it's still a valuable experience, it shows that you are capable and have some basic understanding of the capital markets. A quick LinkedIn search would have given you the same answer though...

 

I did quickly look through the profile of some quant traders, but the ones I saw all had quant-related internships, which is why I made this post.

You'll have to improve your research skills. It literally took me ten seconds to find dozens of quants at Jane Street & co. who interned in S&T
