Investment Banking Strategist
Hi all, I have the impression that, while everyone knows what salespeople, traders and equity researchers do, there is not much information out there about the job (and the recruitment route) of an investment strategist. From what I have read until now, the job description seems very interesting to me. However, I am unsure about how to apply to such an position. It seems that all investment banks have clear links for sales, trading and research. There is no mention of an application to strategist roles. Could they be a subgroup of "trading" or "research"? And also, what qualifies an applicant to be a strategist? Thank you very much!
