Invited to small round table discussion with Global Head of FICC

I’ve been invited to a small round table discussion with the Global Head of FICC at my bank on Tuesday. Any ideas for two intelligent questions I can ask where I won’t sound like a smart ass or a fool? I’m a recent grad in a mid-office group, as I discovered the field late and didn’t understand how the new grad program worked in time for front office positions. Therefore, I am looking to make a switch, which does happen from my group. There will be everything from analysts to MDs in the room, so I’d like to make a good impression so I can network with the analysts, etc. and hopefully have the higher ups know I exist.

If you’re serious about moving to FO, how about do some actual research and thinking and come up with your own questions? Sounds like you want someone else to do the work.
