Market Risk to Fixed Income and Currencies
Is it possible to move from market risk as a summer analyst to sales and trading/FICC full time? I'll be a SA in market risk at BB in NY this summer, but I'm wondering if I chose the right area. I'm genuinely interested in S&T, foreign exchange in particular, but I'm worried that I'll never be able to go into an analyst position full time since I didn't do that internship this summer. Any insights?
