Moving from MBB to S&T?

I'm looking for some advice. I'm currently a student going into my final year of a STEM degree at a UK target (but not Oxbridge) and about to start an MBB consulting internship. Although I'm interested in consulting I think I'd be more interested in applying for S&T roles. My the problem is that I don't have any more opportunities to apply to internships so will have to apply directly to grad roles and don't have any serious finance experience outside of a spring week.

Is it possible to get a full-time S&T role without an internship at a BB? If so, how should I best frame my consulting experience to maximise my chances?
