New hire prop trader looking for advice

I’ll keep this brief. Currently about a year in as a trading analyst at a prop group in Chicago doing fixed income, it was my only offer out of college so I took it. Basically I feel trapped by the desk, don’t enjoy the trade (fixed income, not very technical desk), and work nights (might give firm away). Can offer more info if it’ll help but my question is how easy is it to rotate desks or switch firms if anyone has experience or stories. Would love to do options but I might not have the aggressive stats background places like to see. Would also enjoy commodities as I find it interesting, but don’t know where to begin that hunt.
