prospective trading career

I love trading and trade the SPX cash index for my own account and eventually would love to trade the ES/spx-mini for a living and or commodity futures.

How the hell do you break into this field??????

I am 28, average student, undergrad degree from average university work in retail financial sales (loans investments cash management bs).

My trading results are getting better and I am averaging 2-5% per month with no draw downs trading intraday spx cash (sometimes overnight/weekly with small positions in oil/grains/forex etc). I record my results/thoughts daily and obviously my account proves my success.

I have no doubt in my mind I will be trading my own account til the day I die because I thoroughly enjoy the challenge as the money is far from the only objective.

Any insight would be great thanks?????

My reccomended readings include:
