Renting in London as an Analyst
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there Analysts (or ex-Analysts) among us renting in London. From my understanding, it is quite common to share a house in Central London (or in an area nearby). Do any of you live (lived) alone instead of sharing? It’s surely more expensive to live alone but for people who like comfort, is it worth the money? My questions are therefore:
- How much do you pay for rent in London? (I am trying to get sense of what proportion of one’s salary goes to rent)
- Did you live alone or did you share a flat?
- What was your commute time? To me, this is crucial as the hours are long (7:15-20:30 on my desk)
