Series studying

Incoming S&T analyst for next year at MM European bank in NYC. Wondering if anyone has any insight on how far ahead of time I should start studying for the series tests. I know the firm supplies us with training and study materials when we start, just wondering if it is worthwhile to start ahead of time?
