S&T vs M&A

Currently an intern in Capital Markets (rotating in ECM, DCM, FX, and Fixed Income), with hopes to go into S&T for FT. Was wondering if the pay in S&T is better /hr than traditional IB, lets say M&A or Restructuring - for UK/Europe.
