Starting FT straight after SA

About to start S&T SA in London. Have an offer for a MFin starting in September which I would be happy to do, but would prefer to start FT position straight away if receive a return and this is offered.

Would this availability/willingness to start FT straight in September away be something that is worth flagging to HR before SA starts or once I'm a few weeks in? I'd seen someone say that sometimes this availability can influence desk placement over summer and it's good for HR to know.

Realise this is predicated on receiving return and not looking to come across cocky or assuming I'll 100% get a return, rather just to give them visibility on my situation. Advice appreciated, ty

Idk how UK works but in US for all summer analysts you have to return back to an accredited 4 year institution or masters program for at least 1 semester. Or at least HR needs to think so lol.

So this wouldn’t fly in the US not sure UK is different or not

A fair few banks like ms, gs, Bofa and some others let you start Jan if you convert and are final year.

Some desks may be looking for people who are able to start right / shortly after the internship ends. It depends on desks' needs. I know people who started full-time ~1m after internship finished.
