What exactly is the role of a trading operations analyst? I have experience with FX trade executions, monitoring of exposures and post trade confirmations as a Treasury analyst, but don't know if this will be enough as the job description seems quite generic, without much indication of . I am looking at a role for a trading operations analyst at a prop shop but not sure if this is a more engineering oriented role or something I can apply to (I have a BSc in Business and corporate finance background but looking to pivot to S&T).
Can someone who is a trading operations analyst confirm? Thanks.
