what does mbs/mortgage trading desk do?
Hey all, I was wondering what mbs or mortgage traders do daily, like what kinds of projects/models do jr traders usually need to build? seems like automation is a big part, but I wanted to get a better idea of what that actually looks like...
I have never been a trading desk :( and am super curious and interested!
is vba enough or more advanced coding? Anything else worth learning or getting comfortable with?
Would love to hear anything about fi/rv/credit trading, more specifically mortgage/mbs desk. Thanks so much!
