BizDev/Corporate Development at Unicorn Startup

This isn’t exactly venture capital advice but figured it might be a good place to ask this question.  Does anyone know what kind of exit opportunities would be available if you crushed it at business/corporate development at a unicorn startup? I’m not necessarily saying you were there for 1000x growth and never need to work again.  I’m talking a place that 10-20x-ed while you were there and you can prove that you were an  important part of that growth?

Other than treating it like a full-time investor and taking massive risk trying to get in on the ground-level of another startup with higher upside after your stint at the first startup, what other high-paying jobs could someone pursue with a strong background in business/corporate development at a unicorn startup?
