London late stage VC / GE scene

Hey all,

Does anyone know what the VC (late stage) / growth equity landscape is like in London? 

- Who are the most active players? (e.g. General Atlantic, TA Associates, etc)

- How is recruiting like? Do they mostly take IB peeps or some with Tech experience?

- Any language limitations for Brits?

- Any idea on comp?
