Tech ECM exits. Hedge Fund? VC?
Considering an exit from ECM versus staying on as associate. Covering Tech at BB (GS/MS/JPM).
Love the product and sector but ECM is soul draining… doing the same market updates and shareholder analyses over and over.
I am more interested in what coverage does (valuation, comps, etc.) but switching to coverage would require another analyst year.
That said, I am looking at Hedge Fund and VC roles.
Any advice appreciated.
