BB PWM or Boutique PE/IB
I was wondering what you monkeys think about this. I'm currently a Freshman, and I was wondering what would look better if my end goal was to get into investment-banking my Junior year (non-target).
There's two ways to look at this- if you go with the BB, you could network and create enough connections to reapply to IB there next year. On the other hand, having prior IB experience would give you a leg up if you want to work somewhere else and want to keep your options open.
If you want to end up in IB, do the boutique IB and don't look back
