Career Change Advice - Private Wealth Management

I'm looking to change careers, and I'm hoping for some advice.

Currently a financial counselor at a boutique PWM firm. I don't care for the work so I'm looking to go back to grad school. Late 20s.

Having trouble deciding between MBA and Masters of Financial Mathematics. Came from a non target state school with an undergrad in finance. GMAT / GRE score is competitive.

I would like to move to Denver after graduating. I'm currently in Chicago so NW or UofC would be ideal.

MBA vs MSFM? Would one be easier to get into with my background? Does anyone have insight on job opportunities in Denver with either of those degrees? I would assume MBA would get you further out there. If I'm looking to have weekends free, does anyone have suggestions on industries? Are consulting and corp best for this? It seems like PWM to MBA to Consulting makes decent sense. Agree / disagree?

Thanks so much for any help. If anyone has questions on working in PWM I have answers.
