Financial Advisor trying to break into IB

Hi,

I am a financial advisor attending a top 10 MBA program who is trying to land a Summer Associate internship for 2022 (preferably in Chicago). I have about 10 coffee chats, and while people like me and I am experiencing some success in getting referred to other bankers, most people also tell me that my story needs work. I was trying to search the threads for someone who had been in my position and how they crafted their own story. My story currently is that I have been both a financial advisor and a consultant to other financial advisors. In these roles, I've been fulfilled by helping clients and others achieve great financial success, and that I see banking as a means for doing similar work but on a much larger scale. I appreciate any help that I find here. Thanks in advance!
