Freshman year Summer - PWM or Regional IB
Hi,
I am a freshman at a good non-target university in NYC. I am in a position where I can take a PWM internship at Morgan Stanley, or another internship at a boutique investment bank that specializes in microcap comanies. I am unsure what I would be doing there, but I'm sure I'd be able to spin it. I would like to end up in IB after college.
Edit: Both of these internships would be in my hometown, not NYC.
Congrats on getting an IB internship freshman year! Take it and run with it IMO, having IB on your resume freshman summer is very rare,
Definitely take the IB internship. I had boutique IB my freshman year and it was helpful for getting the offer I wanted.
