Have a Rolex for sale - best place to sell it?

Hey

So I have a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Just that I am looking to sell. It is a woman's and I think it dates pre 1985.

Any suggestions on the best place to sell this? Or any ideas on what it is worth?

Thanks!

It will be difficult since you won't have feedback, however you may find a buyer who is local searching the ads.

Do not sell to Tourneau - they will rip you off. This comes from someone who knows what they are talking about and has dealt with them before. They will only give you top dollar if you are buying a watch from them, which should also not be done. Look for referrals to private dealers and research online - you will find the right buyer. If you can be patient, that watch should be worth more than $2k.

The last Rolex I sold I went to watchchest.com and got bids from santblanc.com. Both companies were great and offered the best prices. I went with Watch Chest because they paid by bank wire.
