Is it possible to transition from Goldman PWM, IMD, Financial Analyst role to an IB in another large bank?
Had a GS interview today for PMW, IMD, Financial Analyst position and looking to hold for 1 year if I get it and move into IB. Is that even possible?
Real estate acquisition and development experience, non target college, BBA Finance magna cum laude, previous tennis professional athlete on ATP challenger tour.
I’d scrub all of the easily identifiable detail out of your post. Also considering the fact that you don’t have an offer, don’t count your chickens before they hatch. PWM to IB is difficult unless you network hard and get lucky and go to a boutique. You would not be a competitive candidate at my firm for IB, Corporate or Middle Market banking with that experience.
