Is Private Banking client facing / social at the assoc level in London?
I'm considering an associate UHNW Private Banking role in London. Since I'm moving from the US I want to make sure that a role like this would allow me to expand my network and make the transition to a new city easier (i.e. easier to make friends + meet new people my age (im 24). Is Private Banking at the associate level client-facing and fun? Specifically, would I go to events and client outings quite frequently or is this not the norm for private banking in London? Please let me know if you have any background or context you can share as to your experience in Private Banking in London.
