JP Morgan Private Bank - Compensation Ladder & Lifestyle 2025?
I am an MBA from top school that has been offered a role at JP Morgan in PB as a single coverage banker and investor. Base is about 150k, does anyone know what overall total comp should be 1st year through 3rd year and into VP, up to MD etc? Could someone who knows this stuff, expand on what the career progression is as an MBA Associate in asset and weath management?

Is it worth taking a pay cut for the long-term prospects?
banker program lasts 3 years on average. Comp doesn’t jump until you start managing your own book of business. Then comp is tied to you hitting your “scorecard” no ceiling from there.
I would also bring up if you can’t bring in PB clientele they are quick to fire and move along. Common path is 2-3 years in program, 6-12 months as a banker then moving to a sales role in AM.
Bumping this. I see plenty of historical threads about junior pay, but have little visibility into VP+. Understand it is somewhat situational but broad bands would be very helpful.
