London Flatmate Wanted

Anyone here still looking for a flat/flatmate for this year in London? My friend recently managed to defer his offer for a year so I'm looking for someone else to buddy-up with. No, I do not already have a flat since we had just started looking.

I'm looking at somewhere in Central London/Zone 1 but I can be flexible. Will be working in the City so looking at Angel, Barbican-Farringdon, Islington, Russell-Square, Old Street, Aldgate, Wapping, London Bridge and Bermondsey. I'm even willing to live out in Canary Wharf (never thought I'd see the day!) or somewhere West- Shepherd's bush or Hammersmith. Max budget- £250/week or £1100-1200/month.

Anyway please PM me. I'd be willing to be the one to go out and check out the flat if you're not London based.

Thanks

A little number crunching for you.

12 months of 1200/month rent is 14,400 quid a year gone.to rent. To put that in perspective, at 5% interest on mortgage payments, for that to match out as money gone, you'd have to have a £300,000 mortgage, (just less if you're paying off the balance, and not just interest only).

There is a chance i might be moving back to london, so i'll keep this bookmarked. Will see what life throws at me though. T
