Man Bun acceptable for Junior in PB/PWM.
Would a Man Bun hamper my chances of getting a return offer, or reduce my compensation down the line in PWM/PB.
From what I read, in IB, its certainly not seen as a good thing till late VP/MD level but I would be interested in hearing how its perceived in PWM/PB.

Have medium length hair (think a little longer than Bradley cooper), but I’m in IB so discard if you wish.
It’s ultimately about presentability. If it’s a clean, tight man-bun, it can be ok (the kind of length that, when let out, would hit the top of your back).
More than that and you’re pushing it from a professional perspective (in my view).
My advice, go for a length that doesn’t require you to have it in a man-bun (but can if you want to).

Just focus on being a killer at your job. Remind yourself of that. Rather than worrying about how others view your hair.
That’ll be the big determinant in return offer and comp down the line.
