NYC Housing, Roommate Needed! ... What to do?

Hey guys,

So I landed an IBD BB analyst position in NYC starting in July. I know it is still early, but I have been talking to all my buddies and contacts at school (non-target) and I really haven't found anyone looking to room together next year. I know I can wait and worst comes to worst get a 1BR but I would ideally like a roommate instead of being a loner. Do guys have any suggestions on how to find potential roommates who are preferably going to be doing IB (or something with intense hours)?

Also, I was think about maybe emailing HR and asking if I could have a list of 2010 analysts and possibly reaching out to them to see if thats a possibility. However, I felt this was a little creepy and maybe not necessary as of now. Agreed?

Let me know any suggestions/personal experiences on this topic. Also feel free to shoot a PM.

Thks

craigslist.

by the way, the idea u mentioned is possible. i know a kid from my analyst class who tried the same thing and found his roommates that way.
